Get Started with Your Trezor
1. Unbox Your Device Make sure your Trezor packaging is sealed and untampered. Inside, you should find your Trezor device, a USB cable, recovery seed cards, and an instruction manual.
2. Connect to Your Computer or Mobile Device Go to Trezor.io/start on your computer or mobile browser. Connect your Trezor device via USB cable.
3. Install Trezor Suite Trezor Suite is the official app for managing your crypto securely. Download Trezor Suite for desktop or access Trezor Suite Web.
4. Initialize Your Device Follow on-screen instructions to either:
Create a New Wallet
Recover a Wallet using your recovery seed if you already have one.
Important: Never use a pre-generated recovery seed. Always create a new one during setup!
5. Backup Your Recovery Seed Your 12- or 24-word recovery seed is your only backup. Write it down carefully and store it securely — never store it digitally or online.
6. Secure Your Device with a PIN Choose a strong PIN code to protect your Trezor device from unauthorized access.
7. Start Managing Your Crypto! Once setup is complete, you can send, receive, and manage your coins safely through Trezor Suite.
